How does the kit work/do I take a fingerprint mold?
The kits are assembled here at my home and sent to the child life specialist team on the Oncology floor at Children’s Hospital Colorado. The specialist will take your child’s fingerprint and then returns the kit to me. I then begin the process of making your pendants for you.
How long does it take to fulfill orders?
Once I receive the kits from the hospital, it takes 3-4 weeks for processing. This is a flexible timeframe, and sometimes I can process your order sooner.
What if I would like additional pendants in the future, what do you do with my child’s fingerprint?
Your child’s fingerprint is kept indefinitely. Your child’s print is pressed into a silicone putty mold which allows me to make additional pendants for you.
Can I order years from now? How many can I order at a time?
You can order years from now, and any number of pendants you would like. There is no time frame or restrictions on the number of pendants you order.
How do I get a kit?
Your child life specialist will have the kits – and they will ask if you would like to know about us and what we do for families like you. They will show you our order form and explain the process to you. I can answer any questions you may have as well.
How do I get my free gift pendants?
Please see your child life specialist – they will explain our program and answer your questions. The kits are available if you desire to have two gift pendants.
What is the cost of your pendants?
On the order form, there is a section that indicates the size, quantity and cost of each pendant or charm. Pendant: $55; Charm: $25. Shapes: Oval, Round, Square.
